The List...

Hi my name is nicolareed and i've decided to try out the 101 things in 1001 days, and here is my blog to show it off. I am an "in the moment" slash "easily distracted" kind of person, so most likely I'll forget about this in a few weeks. But I really would like to stick to it, I think it will do me good to stick to it. I've even convinced my partner aberael to do it too!



So far I have a work in progress, I will add to it and re-organise it into catagories. But for now this will do...

Anyway on with the list;

101 Things in 101 Days

Start Date: 7 April 2008
End Date: 3 January 2011

THE LIST

1. Finish my 101 list and make a blog for it.
2. Blog about each of these 101 goals.
3. Create a new 101 in 1001 list to start after completing the current one.
4. Donate $5 for every goal/task not compleated after 1001 days.

MIND AND SPIRIT

5. Watch the sunrise from mount lofty.
6. Send 10 Postcards @ Postcrossing
7. Use green bags at the supermarket instead of plastic bags. Donate $2 to a charity every time I forget.
8. Trace my family tree.
9. Donate 1,000,000 grains of rice.
10. Buy a present for the Christmas wishing tree each christmas.
11. Put change in someone’s expired parking meter.
12. Keep a one sentence journal.
13. Read 10 non fiction books.
14. Fill a jar with 1000 paper cranes.
15. Make "101 Happy Things" scrapbook about family, friends, and life.
16. Complete a Sudoku book.
17. Find then frame my diploma.
18. Frame 10 family/friend/collage/photo's.

BODY

19. Get to and maintain a weight of 66kg.
20. Go on a day bushwalking trip.
21. Take a dancing class.
22. Reach first weight loss goal, 73.2kg.
23. Reach second weight loss goal, 70.1kg.
24. Reach final weight loss goal, 66kg.
25. Go to the dentist.
26. Get a regular skin care regime happening.
27. Go indoor rock climbing.
28. Get my hair syled, cut and coloured.
29. Go to a Yoga Class
30. Get a swiss ball and learn how to use it.
31. Get a Gym membership (and visit at least twice a week)

EXERSIZE CHALLANGES
To Be Achieved Once Each Month.

32. Lift 500kg (5kg weights 100 times).
33. 800 toe touches.
34. 5 hours of walking.
35. Climb 400 Stairs.
36. Do 300 Sit-ups.
37. Do 450 Star jumps.
38. Do 300 Squats.

CREATIVITY

39. Make a Japanese Banquet for friends and family.
40. Try 10 new foods/meals/flavours.
41. Learnt to/make someting I can wear.
42. Start scapbooking as a new hobby.
43. Participate in Nanowrimo.
44. Make a baby blanket.
45. At least try Project 365.
46. Create a birthday list of friends and family and send home made cards for the occasion.
47. At least attempt the 101 Snapshots Project.
48. Take a Jewelery making course.
49. Buy and finish a paint by number.
50. Use decoupage and old magazines to decorate something.
51. Get a recycled paper kit and make some recycled paper.
52. Learn to make sushi.
53. Bake and decorate 10 cakes, and they can't all be of the same kind.

JUST FOR ME

54. Buy a pair of ankel boots of my dreams.
55. Own a desktop mac.
56. Buy 3 new outfits to better suit my body type for each season.
57. Get some new makeup.
58. Get a motorbike licence.
59. Go to a day spa.
60. Get a manicure and peticure.
61. Add 20 items to my Giraffe collection.
62. Compleate and Re-read my entire Animorphs collection.
63. Get a HDTV or a HD Set Top Box.
64. Get a new ear piercing.
65. Go to Monarto Zoo.

JUST FOR FUN

66. Go snowboarding.
67. Fly in a hot air balloon.
68. Fly a kite and play frizbee.
69. Go on 10 Picnics.
70. Go camping.
71. Go house boating.
72. Finish a puzzle.
73. ROAD TRIP!!!!
74. Make homemade ice cream.
75. Plan a treasure hunt.
76. Collect 10 Disney movies on DVD.
77. Go to a berry picking farm.
78. Visit 20 new restaurants.
79. Try 20 Cold Rock Ice-creamery combinations and then make a top 20 list.
80. Go to the Yellow pages and pick the 4th restaurant, eat the 4th starter, main and desert.
81. Write 3 letters of thanks for good service and 3 letters of complaint for bad service.
82. Buy an map and place a pin on every place I've been.
83. Go on 50 Waterslides at Wet n Wild.
84. Build a snowman.

JUST FOR TEEF AND I

85. Buy a house.
86. Kiss Teef in the Rain, Dance, get soaked.
87. Get Married to Teef.
88. Get Pregnant.
89. Go overseas.
90. Have a toga "party" with teef sometime when were home alone.

ORGANISATION AND UNCLUTTERING

91. Get a filing cabnet and organise all our important documents to that date.
92. Take old clothes to op shop/throw them out.
93. Throw out/donate/sell 101 things.
94. Back-up my computer.
95. Compleate my various dvd series collections.
96. Make 20 more cognitive games for my resouces folders.
97. Get a new address book and add everyone I know too it.
98. Take Photo's of our Queensland Holiday and scrapbook them.
99. Organise every single piece of paper in my room once and for all.
100. Purge My Email inbox.
101. Make a good budget and stick to it for at least 5 paychecks.

I'd have to check shipping costs, but I'd be willing to send you some start-up supplies from my leftovers if it's not ridiculously expensive. :D
